Job Description
PURPOSE
The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for McLane Foodservice Orlando 655 obtains and processes customer orders in a timely manner, meets all deadlines while providing exceptional customer service and distribution center support.
SCHEDULE
Mon - Fri, 7:30 am - Finish
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
• Be vigilant about engaging with the inbound email flow to ensure that customer requests are handled with minimum response times as necessary.
• Contact customers as necessary when we are unable to secure their automated order.

• Verify and key in all records of incoming shipments during shipping as necessary.
• Compare the identifying information on counts and weights from tally sheets of incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records as necessary.
• Processes paperwork and print reports, labels, invoices for the distribution center as needed.
• Run reports for all departments in the distribution center.
• Key orders and run weight sheets for transportation department as necessary.
• Key in case weights as needed.
• Run invoices and key special orders for driver pouches and file as needed.
• Manage SelectorPro flag allocations, product shortages and add-ons to promote efficient shipping workflow.
• This position has additional duties, special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
• Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am to finish; Flexibility to work weekends as necessary preferred.
• Start pay is $17.00 per hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A teammate in this position must:
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible to work extended hours if needed.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of the foodservice distribution process is preferred.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and 10-key data entry.
