Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to gather data required for planning activities such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. May oversee activities related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of materials or finished goods. Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory, and finished goods are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner. Maintains the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develops and implements improved procedures and practices. Provides work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated supervisor to join the MMS Corp Ops Green Team Strategic Support team with an exclusive focus on the ASCE project. This critical role is responsible for assisting the Manager/Project Manager in the transition of the five distribution centers to their newly automated buildings. Your extensive knowledge of DC operations across all departments is essential to ensure seamless transitions without impacting our distribution centers or our customers.
In this role, you will provide specialized support for the ASCE project, ensuring smooth go-lives, conversions, and decommissions of the final five distribution centers. You will be responsible for dispatching the Green Team based on the specific requirements of the ASCE project. Additionally, you will foster continuous growth and development of the team by offering coaching, direct feedback, and conducting written evaluations for direct reports.
This role is pivotal in the successful transition and operation of our automated distribution centers, ensuring our DC operations remain efficient and customer focused.

- Responsibilities may include hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and/or pay reviews.

- Previous McKesson Warehouse Experience Required
Minimum Requirements and Critical Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a DC/warehouse setting.
- 2+ years’ experience working as a supervisor, trainer, or leader of a department or group.
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience with WMS systems.
- LMS experience (optional).
- Preferred performance management experience.
- Experience as a diverse people leader with proven results.
- RF equipment experience preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Powered Industrial equipment certification preferred.

- Required to travel 80 – 90% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- High energy distribution center environment.
- The ability to walk 5-10+ miles a day and be on the floor 85% of the day.
