The Lead Identity Engineer will be responsible for engineering identity and access management solutions with a focus on designing and implementing Enterprise Authentication and access as a Service for the enterprise.

Role/Responsibilities:
Expected to have a thorough understanding of Identity and Access Management realms and stay up to date with the latest security standards, and authentication protocols, as well as best practices around Identity and Access Management (IAM) patterns.
Cultivating a culture of security stewardship, Automation while ensuring access security policies and standards are always adhered to.
Provide technical leadership in addition to solution execution over Authentication and Access Management Services.
Managing the execution of critical processes and in the evaluation and adoption of IAM across McKesson Technology.
Provide consultative oversight of a portfolio of technology evaluation and implementation initiatives – including engaging customers in various roles, partner technology teams, and subject matter experts.
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor and drive Single Sign-on (SSO) and Multi-factor (MFA) implementation efforts across multi-stakeholder teams (internal business stakeholders, technology development and implementation teams, external business partners).
Deliver modern authentication solutions such as Biometrics, FIDO2, Smartcard etc.
Monitor and drive Enterprise IAM implementation efforts across multi-stakeholder teams (internal business stakeholders, technology development and implementation teams, business partners).
Design new integration patterns, innovative solutions, and drive adaptation of IAM technologies
Ongoing process improvement activities to improve Product Management function and engagement with internal and external collaborators.
Mentor team members on IAM products and disciplines
Routinely collaborate with other stakeholders across the enterprise and within Cyber Security to gain Enterprise view of access controls and to effectively promote the adoption of our processes, tools, and technologies.
Coordinate closely with the IAM, Cyber Security and MT leadership teams to provide regular metrics and reporting to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the services, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the overall maturity of capabilities.
Collaborate with other corporate functions including Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance, Privacy, and Enterprise Sourcing to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture. Liaise with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) for cybersecurity and IT Risk & Compliance Management program needs within business units.
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience
Critical Skills:
Strong development experience and understanding of IAM technologies such as Okta, Entra ID, Auth0 etc.
Deep knowledge in authentication, authorization, and security protocols
Good knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions.
Additional Experience:
Experience as Security architect while leveraging modern technologies and processes.
Knowledge of the healthcare, distribution, and supply chain industry is a plus.
Strong technical aptitude and experience with a wide variety of technologies
Ability to rapidly learn and if required evaluate a new tool or technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to influencing skills.
Demonstrated and progressive leadership experience with technical teams
Strong interpersonal and communications skills to build/ maintain ongoing business relationships.
Must have a strong customer-centric attitude and quality focus.
Must have demonstrated working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions to complex technical issues.
Education:
4-year degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field), or equivalent experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
