About the Role

We are seeking a Creative Operations Manager to join our Creative Team. In this role, you will elevate our creative output by optimizing processes and empowering cross-functional teams (Product Design, Marketing, PR/Communications, and Content) to deliver exceptional results for our members. You'll analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. You should have a forward looking view and impact how we work in a proactive way to get ahead of quarterly roadmaps vs tackling work that appears in the pipeline.

To make our mission a reality, your skills will be accountable for

  • Brand Stewardship and Efficient Project Management: Ability to uphold the integrity of the brand while ensuring project deliverables and objectives are met with precision and timeliness.

  • Driving Operational Efficiency through Production Excellence: You will be a champion of operational efficiency, leveraging best-in-class production strategies that are agile, cost-effective, and maintain creative excellence.

  • Strategic Collaboration and Problem-Solving for Efficiency: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, collaborating strategically to solve problems and drive efficiency. This includes facilitating efficient communication and decision-making processes.

  • Leadership and Professionalism: Serve as the key point of contact for internal creative projects, demonstrating leadership and professionalism in managing and facilitating solutions for business challenges.

  • Relationship Management and Troubleshooting: Ability to effectively manage and troubleshoot complex situations involving creative resources, vendor relationships, and project adjustments.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, ensuring clear, effective, and proactive status updates and reports to all relevant parties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Leadership and Results Orientation: Proven track record of leading projects and guiding team goals by taking ownership and driving results. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve high performance.

  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to aid the team in resolving issues effectively. Experience in identifying, analyzing, and addressing complex project challenges.

  • Experience in Design Operations: Specific experience in a design or creative operations role, managing workflows within creative teams, and understanding the unique challenges of design project management.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate while maintaining effective relationships.

  • Adaptability and Agile Practices: Experience working in an agile environment, able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Industry Tools: Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Asana, Jira, or similar, as well as familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

  • Experience in B2B2C, Health or relevant industry

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates based in the New York Metropolitan area, or remote from within the US. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.

For candidates in NYC or CO, the salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 per year. You may also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
