The Opportunity:
How can you join the team?
Hot Wheels is hiring a Senior Global Brand Marketing Associate to work on the Global Brand Team (GBT). The GBT is responsible for the global brand strategy as well as development of the global product line and marketing assets. The larger team is broken out into several smaller teams by product category. This role will be focused on the Hot Wheels Adult portfolio. The Senior Global Brand Marketing Associate will work alongside the Hot Wheels Adult Marketing Manager, primarily focused on product development, marketing asset creation and will work closely with our Mattel Creations team on product launches.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to manage the product portfolio & marketing activations
- Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, work closely with cross-functional partners (product design, packaging, development etc.) to help develop the product line, focusing primarily on maintaining development schedules and cost targets.
- Partner with the Mattel Creations team on product launches, briefs, assets and reporting.
- Assist with planning for global marketing assets including social content, eComm assets, CRM programs etc.
- Monitor key trends, brands and competitors’ performance in all markets
- Contribute to the planning and execution of global brand building activities, development of global marketing tools and development of content with internal and external groups
- Assist with the development of presentation materials for key partner meetings and internal meetings.
- Support global business reporting and analysis.
- Support with creation of line documentation (line lists, merchandising outlines etc.) as assigned.
- Manage product samples requests.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable presenting to large audiences
- Demonstrated leadership, project management and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong time management, planning and project execution skills
- Computer proficiency: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Interest/background in automotive culture, pop culture, entertainment a plus
The annual base salary range for this position is between $88,000 and $110,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
