The Team

Working within both the PEM (Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) Leadership Team and the EMEA Commercial Strategy Team, this role sits within the heart of the running of the Mattel PEM business and operations.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Head of Strategy, Northern Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, this role will be a key support to the PEM (Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) leadership team through project management activities for a great variety of strategy, commercial and longer term projects. This role will also be responsible for partnering with the VP Regional Lead and multiple Country Managers to enable and drive the regions strategic plans for growth.  In this position you will be pivotal to helping to build and shape the short and longer term direction of the organization, working closely across all of the functions to galvanize our strategic path forward.

Job Description

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    • Contribute to, coordinate, and follow up on strategic projects and initiatives supporting the Head of Strategy & VP Regional Lead, ensure timelines are effectively managed and impactful communication to all audiences is considered
    • Work with PEM Leadership Team members to support Market-wide projects and initiatives
    • Creation and upkeeping of presentations, strategic documents, workshop preparations and presentations as well as follow up on meeting actions
    • Prepare analysis, consolidate executive summaries, decision templates and craft executive briefing documents
    • Proactively follow up and manage milestones, deliverables, actions, minutes, legal requirements and next steps
    • Supporting the VP Regional Lead in the day-to-day business needs from a strategic perspective
    • Manage the presentation material for business plans, quarterly market reviews, functional EMEA reviews, off-sites and Company Updates, making recommendations and ensuring alignment
    • Prepare and manage the agenda for and organize team meetings & offsites.
    • Closely liaise with the PEM Leadership Team, direct reports and project leads of the PEM VP Regional Lead.
    • Takes Actions in Leadership meeting

    Qualifications

    Experience

    • 3+ years’ work experience within a Commercial, Business Analysis, Consulting or a Business Strategy/Insights based role is highly preferred
    • BA/BSc Degree (or equivalent) Business Studies, or a related subject
    • Ability to demonstrate the capability to take projects, information and goals and help work to create a strategic plan and deliver insights and action plans
