About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Strategy Manager to join our team in a newly created role. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to influence the future of our go-to-market strategy and work closely with National Account Managers and the Customer Marketing team to drive retail strategy and omni-activation for Walmart across all our brands. This role serves as a key stepping stone to leadership positions in Sales and Customer Marketing, providing substantial opportunities for career advancement

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Strategic Account Planning:
    • Develop long-term account plans using shopper and customer data.
    • Implement activation plans and align promotional programs with brand priorities.
    • Coordinate key product meetings and strategic account materials with sales.
  • Promotional Planning:
    • Lead retail promotional strategies and executions in partnership with NAMs.
    • Manage promotional calendars, track marketing investments, and conduct post-mortems.
  • Digital Strategy & Merchandising:
    • Drive and execute digital strategies for our online presence.
    • Oversee Retail Media relationships and negotiate online brand programs.
  • Organizational Alignment:
    • Bridge communication between Sales and Marketing.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, sales, trade marketing, e-commerce, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in customer marketing, e-commerce, and retail media.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Creative, innovative, and growth mindset.
