ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Lead will provide direction for assigned members of the staff in Maintenance department and coordinate the activities of maintenance workers. the will also be responsible for the following:

  • Leads daily work flow based on business demands and requirements.
  • Responsible for the direction of employees in the Maintenance department.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Advises employees on care and preservation of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment utilized within the facility.
  • Ensures that all company safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
  • Facilitate training to ensure staff members understand and utilize the procedures that will lead to maximized productivity, accuracy, safety, proper use and maintenance of the equipment and supplies.
  • Advises management concerning work orders progress and status of department on a regular basis.
  • Notifies management with any issues or concerns from the Maintenance department.

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 to 4 years related/LEAD experience and/or training required.
  • Automation and mechanical experience REQUIRED.
  • Bi-Lingual, English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions as provided by management.   
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees and customer contacts. 
  • Effectively communicate progress to management.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in a standardized environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
