The Team

Mattel's regional IT BA team of 4, operates within the Global Technology Organization (GTO). The GTOs primary purpose is to modernize our technology architecture, deliver a best-in-class, end-to-end business transformation across all brands and regions through technology, standardize global business processes through modern technology platform, improve the way we work, reduce costs across the enterprise & position Mattel for technology-enabled growth.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lead IT Business Analyst to join our regional IT team in EMEA with a focus on business partnership and building subject matter expertise in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics systems. Reporting into the Sr IT Manager, primary responsibilities include liaising between IT, business users, 3PL contacts and 3rd party IT delivery partners, building expertise with Mattel’s iSeries based operational systems, analyzing business needs and helping to maintain and improve the quality of our services. The role carries opportunities to work on regional and global IT transformational projects, supporting rollouts & participating in solution discovery activities.

 

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Regional and global IT subject matter expert in Mattel’s iSeries based operations systems with a Logistics and Supply Chain focus.
  • Regional IT subject matter expert in EMEA Supply Chain & Logistics processes.
  • Provide consultation and escalation point to regional business partners.
  • Provide consultation for internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Manage response to time sensitive, business critical support incidents.
  • Work with business partners to identify and drive transformation opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of tools and processes; help drive standardization of processes.
  • Provide data analysis and structured insights to influence positive outcomes.
  • Partner with and provide direction to outsourced IT partners.
  • Lead regional and global project work with business partners and 3PL providers.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or other IT related subjects.
  • Experienced iSeries operator or developer; Supply Chain or Finance applications preferred.
  • 5+ years business partnering within Supply Chain and Logistics process areas.
  • Problem solving skills, an analytical mindset and comfortable with high complexity.
  • Experience coordinating or leading IT projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work individually and part of a team.
