The Opportunity:
As a Key Account Supervisor at Mattel APAC, you'll play a crucial role in strategically driving sales growth and profitability for designated key accounts within the Mattel organization, by fostering strong customer relationships, optimizing retail space, and executing effective marketing and promotional campaigns aligned with brand objectives.

What Your Impact Will Be:
- Sales & Profitability
- Complete a GAP for each key account.
- Establish customer sales, distribution and shelf space targets.
- Review customer performance monthly with accounts and management.
- Define pricing and selling strategies, and trade terms.
- Manage promotion budget.
- Retail Space Management
- Aggressively acquire shelf space.
- Jointly develop productivity metrics for shelf space.
- Utilize POS data to substantiate space acquiring plan.
- Proactively develop space management recommendations and implementation plans.
- Customer Relationship
- Develop strong business relationships with key account personnel.
- Complete and execute a GAP for each key customer.
- Understand the business of key customers and add value to their business.
- Listing, Merchandising, and Inventory Management
- Understand category development drivers and tools in retail trade.
- Effectively plan and control coverage of personal accounts.
- Execute and negotiate products/category list with key customers.
- Ensure availability of must have items in stores.
- Jointly execute the planogram and ensure the right merchandising at store level.
- Excellent in execution of key campaigns both in and out of store.
- Understand supply chain management.
- Continuously improve inventory levels, space and merchandising.
- Retail advertising & promotion activities
- Develop customer propositions and sound commercial plans.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotion strategies.
- Co-manage trade terms and available co-op advertising and promotion budget.
- Jointly develop sales support materials.
- Understand and interpret research and shopper insights.
- Monitor competitive activities and market trends.
- Key Relationships:
- Internal: Regional Marketing Team, Local Brand/Trade Marketing Team, Planning & Logistics.
- External: Key customers, distributors, buying groups, media agencies, promotional agencies.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales & marketing in local retail environment, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience in hypermarket or toys specialty selling.
- Proven sales and key account management record.
- Good command of English.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Selling and negotiation skills.
