This position will ensure the Workday and Peoplesoft HRIS systems are in sync by performing daily analysis and audit of interface files and communicating with People & Culture Business Partners (PCBP) and Payroll to ensure employee record, pay, and benefits are accurate.
The Mattel Shared Services department is currently looking for a Employee Services Representative (Analyst) to support our East Aurora, NY office.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Daily analysis and auditing of Excel interface files to ensure employee type changes are processed accurately and timely in Workday and Peoplesoft. Manually update Peoplesoft to match Workday when required.
- Research and resolve complex transactions related to Employee Data Management in Workday and Peoplesoft.
- Identify and record errors/inconsistencies and communicate with PCBPs to ensure Workday is updated accurately and timely. To follow up and ensure data is updated and meets the weekly and biweekly payroll deadlines.
- Analysis / entry and/or audit of LOA reports into the Workday system.
- Analyze and prepare and deliver insider trading information.
- Preparation, analysis, and auditing of employee severance documentation.
- Monitor Workday inbox to analyze and approve business processes and employee self-service tasks.
- Report any corrections that affect payroll to management in a timely manner.
- Processing and analysis of daily queries / reports to ensure data integrity.
- Process change requests related to employee data, training, visa updates.
- Assist with necessary testing of HRIS systems.
- Strict Auditing of co-worker’s data entry.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and documentation related to Employee Data Management.
- Process employee verifications as needed.
- Develop strategies to continuously improve business processes and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with overflow of additional work within department.
- Overtime will be mandatory at certain times of the year.
Qualifications

- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret and process large volumes of data.
- Proven research and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and manage time in a highly paced environment.
- Serve as a liaison between PCBPs, payroll, and employees by analyzing and interpreting data that affects employee pay and benefits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Education/Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or related field.
- Experience in Human Resources analysis, Finance, Accounting, and/or Database Auditing
- Experience with Workday and/or Peoplesoft HCM is preferred.
- Exemplary attendance and job performance.
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
The base hourly rate for this position is between $24,62 and $30,77.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
