What Your Impact Will Be: 

As a Business Analytics you will play a pivotal role. We now seek to go further by increasing our influence on decision making through data-driven analysis and recommendations that allow us to improve our performance (market share, profitability, etc.). Our main challenge is to put the consumer at the center, with limited budgets and time.

Key responsibilities: 

  1. Use advanced data prep techniques to integrate data from different sources and/or systems, facilitating and improving our current reporting with the objective of reducing manual and low value-added work hours. 

  1. Create, modify and maintain the necessary databases for Business Analytics reports, ensuring data quality, accuracy and integrity as well as timelines compliance. 

  1. Periodically publish reports to the entire organization, complementing them with analysis, highlights, trends, new metrics and business recommendations. 

  1. Proactively develop efficient and high impact reports using tools such as Tableau and Google Big Query. 

  1. Contribute to Mattel's growth and performance optimization, supporting commercial execution and business decision making. 

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles. 

  • Advanced Excel, with experience in reporting in access and with data models.  

  • High analytical level with experience applying quantitative solutions 

  • 2+ years of experience executing programming in SQL and/or similar programming languages (Google Big Query preferred) and experience in Data prep (Google Big Query preferred) 

  • Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau) 

  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data, recognize patterns/trends and generate meaningful conclusions 

  • Advanced English. 

  • Self driven/motivated 

  • Consumer Centric 

  • Accountability
