The Opportunity:
As the Associate Manager, Ecommerce Analytics and Insights for the American Girl team, this role will report into the Sr. Manager, Analytics and Insights and will lead the design and execution ecommerce analytics strategies across all AG digital properties. This role will be responsible for providing KPI reporting to key stakeholders, sharing actionable and impactful insights with various business teams, and advancing initiatives to improve channel, product and consumer analytics capabilities in support of key business goals.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Implement and contribute to the vision and roadmap for improving analytics and digital data capabilities across AG sites.
- Provide quarterly, monthly, weekly and ad hoc performance reporting for the business. Communicate key learnings to business leaders and build on methodology to guide future analysis and planning.
- Create and maintain suite of effective business dashboards within Tableau and Looker (Data Studio) designed to assist the larger business with reviewing performance and accessing data.
- Support stakeholders across product management, marketing, merchandise, and UX/UI by providing actionable insights and recommendations that help contribute to the success of ecommerce campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage the data layer across all AG sites and ensure accuracy and consistency within business reporting.
- Coordinate updates to data flows with Tag Management vendor and Analytics and Insights team to ensure consistency of tracking methodology across Mattel business units.
- Partner with the Data and MarTech Product Management teams to improve consumer analytics capabilities and provide specifications for feature tracking.
- Work with technical and functional teams to support key roadmap initiatives and guide prioritization based on business needs/impact.
- Lead initiatives designed to enable advanced segmentation strategies, personalization, and prescriptive analytics including audience modeling and RFM scoring via internal and 3rd party tools.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for AG web analytics and ecommerce data, including, but not limited to, training and consultation on cross-organization projects as needed.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders as a trusted source for analytics and business insights.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience with web analysis in a multi-channel ecommerce environment a must
- Proficiency working with Google Analytics - UA and GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker (Data Studio)
- Proficiency in visualization and data analysis tools like Tableau, SQL and R, additional familiarity with programming languages a plus
- Strong analytical skills, experience in dashboard creation using Excel or Tableau.
- Strong project management skills and experience using enterprise project management tools like JIRA, Monday and Confluence
- Understanding of and experience with foundational ecommerce customer analytics concepts like predictive analytics and RFM Scoring.
- Prior experience working with a CDP a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written/presentation formats to functional and technical partners a must
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
The annual base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $125,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
