The Commercial segment is a very large and exciting segment with a target opportunity size of $4.7 trillion in MEA. We are on an exciting journey to expand our solutions that cater towards small and medium enterprises across our card products eg debit, credit, prepaid and platform solutions.

This is an exciting and fast-paced role in product management for the Commercial product line SME segment EEMEA that would be well suited for those who enjoy being hands-on with strategy and delivering results. Product management at Mastercard is a truly engaging function where we deploy our Studio product design process that is lead by a design thinking methodology to understand our end user and to differentiate Mastercard from its competition.
The role will focus on executing a strategy to build new solutions and scale our existing global solutions for the EEMEA Region.
As the SME EEMEA lead, you'll bring your strong expertise in the SME segment to create world-class solutions to help businesses streamline how they manage payments when buying or selling products & services.
Role
• Develop SME product strategy for EEMEA
• Develop and socialise tactical plans to execute product strategy
• Design, build and manage Customer value propositions
• Identify customers and flows to target and accelerate the displacement of cash and checks
• Deliver SME Financial Targets for EEMEA to achieve our aspiration of reaching 10MM SMEs by 2025
• Optimize and expand SME portfolios of existing Issuers, and support new issuance opportunities
• Lead on execution of tools and product materials to sell the value of SME to new Issuers, Acquirers, Fintechs and Governments
• Collaborate and build relationships with cross functional teams to ensure success of Commercial product strategy
• Provoke and provide thought leadership through knowledge of the SME segment and business
All About You
• Payments experience and very good understanding of the SME segment
• Ability to integrate and apply knowledge across P&L management, product positioning, solution selling
• Function in an complex environment with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Business technical skills for translation of product and system requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical people.
• Strong interpersonal skills in order to build relationships and collaboration with regional and global colleagues to speed the use and deployment of new solutions
• Ability to maintain a self-motivated, consistently high level of focus and enthusiasm on a daily basis
• Solutions oriented and desire to deliver
