The charter of the Acceptance group encompasses the development and commercialization of technology, solutions, and strategic partnerships. The VP of Acceptance will oversee efforts to assist merchants in accepting electronic payments across various channels, ensuring the best possible consumer experience. This role involves collaborating with a wide range of channel partners within the acceptance ecosystem, including acquirers, payment facilitators, gateways, ISVs, ISOs, and more.
This role will report directly to the North CSC lead Role.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the company's Global Acceptance strategy in the North Division.
• Own and be accountable for the merchant customer experience with respect to the company's acceptance products and solutions, including advocating for merchants and acquirers/PSPs to enable Mastercard to better serve the acceptance community.
• Work with LAC acceptance teams (product and sales) to execute the acceptance channel strategy, including identification and cultivation of third-party partnerships critical to expanding acceptance.
• Work collaboratively with the markets and global teams to influence acceptance economics to balance the company acceptance expansion objectives with overall company and customer objectives.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to key geographic and functional business unit heads to execute the go-to-market strategy and to other merchant-oriented areas of the company to align with the overall merchant strategy
• Commercialize new solutions, in partnership with Product Development, Product Marketing and in-market Sales team.
• Provide strong leadership, direction and development of a world class team
