Overview

The Specialist role is a regional hunting role, for the Latin America and Caribbean division.

As a Specialist in the Fintech, Digital Partnerships and Commerce team you will be challenged with identifying new opportunities within a new vertical prime for digitization. This includes defining the go-to-market, sizing the business, key target companies, cold/warm outreach, and advancing opportunities to digitize payment flows using Mastercard's solutions (cards, VCN, disbursements, cross-border payments, etc.)

As key member of this LAC Business Development team, you will be evaluated based on new deals/revenue signed as well as on advancing the Mastercard agenda across new verticals.

Other Responsibilities

-Develop a strategy and prioritization of solutions & companies to focus on within the new vertical
-Leverage existing relationships or engage on cold outreach to open new opportunities
-Collaborate with Mastercard stakeholders to define the digitization strategy for each prospect
-Be the voice of Mastercard drive thought leadership and support our potential customers plans
-Manage an updated pipeline of new opportunities and potential revenue
-Grow Mastercard's awareness and position in the new vertical
-Work with stakeholders to present compelling business and legal proposals

All About You

-Have experience in the payments space
-Have advanced sales experience
-Deep knowledge about the innovation ecosystem in LAC and trends
-Be customer centric
-Look for complementary products or services that can also help the customer
-Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
-Be able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
-Always look for potential solutions to solve problems
-English and Spanish required, Portuguese preferred
