Title and Summary

Software Engineer - C#

Overview:

Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions. Define requirements for new applications and customization adhering to MasterCard standards, processes and best practices. Develop, customize, and test applications to integrate to MasterCard's specifications. Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical training to other team members

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the connectivity architecture design and ensure that the developed solutions are reliable, maintainable and scalable.
• Mentor other team members and proactively start initiatives that will increase the team quality and performance.
• Drive the technical workshops to help other engineers grow.
• Take ownership of the most-complex technical issues and find the right way to solve them.• Contribute to the team processes and quality gates so the product matches all quality requirements.
• Support the team during all ceremonies, so all requests to the team are properly refined and all potential issues are identified up-front.
• Partner with the Business representatives and other Connectivity teams to develop a deep understanding of the Connectivity Domain and apply that knowledge during the new modules/features implementation.
• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders
• Estimate and own delivery tasks (design, dev, test, deployment, configuration, documentation) to meet the business requirements

Experiences:
• 5+ years of experience in backend development for large-scale api projects
• Proficiency with .NET Core and C#
• Great understanding of REST APIs and the entire HTTP protocol
• Practical experience with web security
• Fluency in GIT source control usage
• Experience in designing web applications
• Soft skills: Customer/Business Orientation, Team Player, Agile Mindset,

Problem Solve
• Experience working in FinTechs / Financial Projects
• Azure and Terraform Experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
