Senior Specialist , Product Management

As a Product Manager, the role will be part of a team responsible for owning and delivering the tactical execution of the development the Ethoca Clarity product. You will be working closely with development teams to create the needed features that will further evolve the product. Vital to this will be coordinating the requirements from Product Managers, customers and partners, and internal stakeholders.

Role Description
• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct in-depth interviews with Issuers, Merchants, Acquirers, Partners, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to identify key opportunities, while maintaining a keen awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Requirements Gathering and Validation: Collaborate with product management, development teams, customers, and other market stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Product Backlog Ownership: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is consistently refined and aligned with strategic goals.
• Strategic Decision Making: Make informed decisions on product development priorities, translating strategic plans into actionable tasks.
• Release Planning: Partner with product management to plan releases that align with corporate objectives.
• Active Scrum Participation: Engage as a proactive Scrum team member, participating in UAT, clarifying requirements, articulating business value, and attending all Scrum events.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, Quality Assurance, Security, Operations, and Data Teams to ensure successful delivery of product releases.
• Post-release Education: Provide comprehensive post-release education through demos, release notes, and other documentation.
• Customer and User Engagement: Actively engage with customers and end users to gather feedback and insights on the product offering.

All About You
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within an Agile development team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, supported by research and analytical skills.
• Experience in the Payments, Ecommerce, Disputes and/or Fraud Management industry is a plus.
• Skilled in creating mockups, flow charts, and process diagrams to capture requirements, present solutions, and facilitate discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with technology personnel and customer end users, across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
