Overview

Prepaid Management Services is the division of MasterCard that concentrates on Prepaid Solutions such as our Multi-Currency CashPassport product. Traditionally focused on the Travel sector this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. This role is within the Global Technology Services (GTS) team which is part of the wider MasterCard Operations & Technologies group. We provide high quality evolutionary and operational capabilities to support the MasterCard Prepaid Management Services business.

We are looking for experienced Senior .NET developer to oversee the development of functional. You will be directly involved with .NET application coding, system debugging, code reviewing, and the development of operational procedures. You should have good managerial skills, extensive experience with Microsoft Frameworks, and advanced problem-solving skills. A top-class Senior .NET Developer ensures the software development team produces scalable and functional applications that meet company specifications.

Role
• Meeting with technology managers to determine application and website requirements.
• Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications.
• Analyzing system requirements and delegating development tasks.
• Developing technical specifications.
• Writing scalable code for .NET software applications.
• Reviewing and debugging .NET applications.
• Providing support for junior developers.
• Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
• Drafting software and application operating procedures.
• Training junior staff.
• Co-ordinate software and infrastructure changes
• To contribute to continuous service improvement by reviewing and maintaining all documentation

All About You

Essential
• 7+ yrs of experience with .NET tools and modern technologies - ASP.NET MVC, .NET CORE, Web API, Angular 12+, Entity FW 6+, SQL, CMS - Umbraco.
• Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Ability to work with various development methodologies;
• An understanding of software release management
• An understanding of change control process/incident management
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Able to work without close supervision
• Good decision making skills
• Excellent written and spoken English to be able to clearly understood over phone and Chat sessions.

Desirable
• Experience in software build processes
• Experience in Java spring boot API development
• Familiarity with Software Development processes, practices and paradigms - RUP, Agile
