Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
The Role:
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to join our DMP team in Vancouver office.
The DMP (Decision Management Program) enables Mastercard intelligent decision based products through streaming analytics with the ability to govern these decisions and manage their outcomes with business agility. This program leverages business rules & AI engines, a streaming big data cluster, an in memory data grids, APIs, & UIs to deliver real time decisions at global scale.
This person will be responsible for leading the software engineer teams to provide technical solutions and ensure the intelligent decision based products performance meets the SLA for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Roadmap Development and shape the direction for multiple initiatives and scrum teams, fostering synergy to achieve business goals.
• Manage the intake process to oversee requests to ensure they are fulfilled and prioritized effectively.
• Collaborating with cross team SMEs to convert business requirement into technical solutions.
• Responsible for overseeing Epics, features, stories, guiding their elaboration and execution.
• Drive discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Coach PM-Ts in the team and cultivate a culture of excellence .
All About You:
• Experience as a product manager managing multiple initiatives and diverse stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in leading prioritization while building the resiliency and identify the risks in technical planning.
• Extensive experience in agile project management and in-depth technical understanding.
• Strong capability in interpreting between engineer teams and product owners.
• Experience in leveraging the OKR framework to set and track measurable goals.
• Displays a high degree of initiative & self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and tackle challenging opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
• Good understanding of machine learning model-based application development and deployment
• Technical engineer background
• Payment industry knowledge
Pay Ranges
Vancouver, Canada: $127,000 - $210,000 CAD
