Overview
The Network Operations team is looking for a Principal Consultant to oversee all audit and compliance processes for the network infrastructure. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Mastercard's various network environments successfully satisfy all internal and external network security controls and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of current network technologies and the methods in which they are securely implemented. The candidate should have previous experience interacting with external regulators and a thorough knowledge of industry standard IT security controls.
Role
Develop and implement sustainable strategies to ensure compliance for all network security controls and regulatory requirements.
• Interact directly with internal technology risk leads and external regulators to demonstrate security control compliance.
• Develop remediation plans for any known network security gaps.
• Interact directly with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and evidence that satisfies network security controls.
• Oversee all audit and compliance tasks on behalf of the Network program to ensure successful completion by regulatory deadlines.
• Create and document new processes and procedures for the Network Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams while also improving the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes and procedures.
• Develop metrics and reporting to ensure senior management has visibility of the compliance status of the network environment.
All About You
Network or Security administration, architecture, engineering, or operations experience for various network hardware platforms (Arista, Cisco, Aruba, Check Point, Palo Alto) in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Information Security controls, processes, and frameworks (NIST, PCI, COBIT, COSO, ISO, SOC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree with a major relevant to Information Technology.
• Professional credentials (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent)
