As part of our experienced hiring team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Mastercard by attracting exceptional mid- to senior-level talent across multiple business units.

Based in Tokyo, you'll be at the heart of our core market in Japan while also having the opportunity to collaborate on hiring efforts across international markets. You'll join a high-performing and close-knit regional TA team that values teamwork, shared success, and continuous growth.

Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders, People Business Partners, and other stakeholders to understand hiring needs and proactively plan for future talent requirements.
• Own end-to-end recruitment for mid-senior roles across multiple business units in Japan, with the opportunity to support international hiring initiatives.
• Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies using a mix of direct sourcing, talent mapping, networking, and digital channels.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring journey-coordinating candidate experience, managing assessments and interviews, and guiding selection decisions.
• Drive impactful employer branding initiatives aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Deliver timely updates and insights to stakeholders through data-driven reporting and market intelligence.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity across all recruitment systems and processes.
• Stay abreast of talent market trends and bring fresh ideas to continuously improve our hiring strategies.
About You
• Extensive experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally across both agency and in-house environments.
• Strong knowledge of Japan's talent landscape; experience with the fintech or consulting sectors is a plus.
• Confident managing multiple requisitions and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Fluent in Japanese and English (business level fluency) with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Skilled in leveraging data and insights to shape recruiting strategies and stakeholder conversations.
• Comfortable building strong relationships with hiring managers and business partners at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and social media recruiting.
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for hiring great talent.
