This role requires a person who can demonstrate superior business acumen, presentation, and storytelling skills. In addition, candidate loves to work collaboratively and needs the ability to drive participation and engagement with marketing and communications cross functional teams, other internal stakeholders, and external research, insights and trends partners.

Role:
• Strategy & Planning:
-leverage primary and third-party sources -spending trends, internal data, competitive, audiences and generations reports, cultural trends, brand performance, etc... - to identify key trends and propose strategic opportunities for the brand and the business (e.g. new product opportunities, new passion trends, new consumption patterns, brand strategy)
-Provide supporting evidence and insights towards the planning process, in relation to brand and campaigns/programs performance, and for business reviews.
• Reporting & Analytics:
-Creative development and optimization: consumer testing and validation of advertising campaigns, providing consultative support to marketing and agency teams to ensure objectives are met for each campaign. Generate best practices and own the learning agenda to feed future work based on past learnings.
-Develop measurement frameworks and learning agendas to report on performance of key marketing & communications initiatives holistically: brand and business impact, understanding drivers behind results and connecting the dots to uncover insights and create a complete story.
-Brand performance and narrative: monitor brand KPIs quarter over quarter and deliver brand narrative in connection with brand, market, competitors' activity.
-Storytelling: use visualization and storytelling techniques to socialize success, key learnings, conclusions, and implications if any to the brand and business strategy.

All About You:
• Ability to integrate intelligence sources and connect the dots to arrive at a conclusion / hypotheses / story / the solution.
• Ability to connect marketing performance results across channels and initiatives with brand, media, business, and financial results to develop hypotheses around drivers of performance and implications for future plans and strategy.
• Consultative abilities, strong problem solving, analytical & quantitative skills.
• Strong relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups, both internally and externally with research providers, media, and creative agencies.
• Self-starter, driver, and advocate of the reporting and learning agenda.
• High energy individual, enthusiastic and passionate about building strong stories from data.
• Ability to display agility, resilience, and sense of urgency in fast-pace environment.
• Strong data visualization, data packaging and storytelling skills.
• Advanced excel skills, PowerPoint skills. SPSS skills preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance), flexible spending account and health savings account, paid leaves (including 16 weeks new parent leave, up to 20 paid days bereavement leave), 10 annual paid sick days, 10 or more annual paid vacation days based on level, 5 personal days, 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays, 401k with a best-in-class company match, deferred compensation for eligible roles, fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities, eligibility for tuition reimbursement, gender-inclusive benefits and many more.
