Manager, Project Management, Mergers and Acquisitions

Overview:
Are you motivated by leading fast-paced technology projects requiring collaboration across a multi-disciplined team? Do you enjoy guiding other technology colleagues in creating new solutions to solve complex business problems? Are you passionate about Project Management and skilled in using MS Project, Rally (ALM), and/or JIRA to build project plans?

We are seeking a Manager to lead a team of Project Managers responsible for M&A technology activities across the full deal lifecycle, from early-stage evaluations, due diligence, and integration. The Mastercard Operations & Technology (O&T) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team supports the full lifecycle of technology-related M&A activities, from target identification and strategic company/partner technology evaluations to technology due diligence and leading technology integrations.

The Role:
In this role, you will:
• Work with senior stakeholders across the organization (including Operations and Technology, Product and Engineering, Corporate Development/Strategy, and global and regional product owners) to understand deal/partnership rationale and value drivers.
• Provide technology insight and leadership as deals progress from early evaluation through diligence and into integration.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to develop accurate and detailed project plans in support of integration activities. This team supports the M&A integration Program Managers and is also responsible for data integrity for reporting metrics and analytics.
• Drive analysis to uncover issues, risks, and opportunities across all areas of technology, including organization, process, tools, technology, architecture, hardware, software, data, hosting, SDLC, and more.
• Provide Project Management subject matter expertise and hold the team accountable for adherence to established processes, including delivery checkpoints.
• Develop integration strategies into executable plans while driving alignment to Mastercard operational and security standards.

• Project Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of critical path, dependencies, and using data from project plans for storytelling.
• Risk and Issue Management: Skilled in managing risks, issues, and change management effectively.
• Strategic Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to navigate and influence at various organizational levels.
• Priority Management: Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive successful project outcomes.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Purchase, New York: $129,000 - $206,000 USD
