About the Role:

As the Manager, Product Transformation, you will drive key product transformation initiatives within Mastercard. This role is a unique opportunity to lead cross-functional programs that enhance product growth, improve operational efficiency, and streamline product lifecycle management. You will partner closely with global and regional product teams, as well as senior leadership, to ensure smooth execution of critical projects. Your focus will be on delivering insights, optimizing processes, and facilitating collaboration to accelerate Mastercard's product evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product transformation projects, coordinating across multiple stakeholders including global and regional product teams, business unit leads, and senior leadership.
• Break down complex workstreams into actionable steps, conduct interviews with internal teams, and provide data-driven analysis to uncover root causes and offer strategic insights.
• Design and execute process engineering efforts, utilizing process mapping to drive improvements and streamline product delivery.
• Champion continuous process improvement initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency and faster time-to-market.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, effectively managing conflicting priorities to align all teams with transformation goals.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership, guiding decisions on product prioritization and investment strategies.
• Take ownership of complex problem spaces, identifying both immediate issues and underlying systemic challenges, driving them to resolution.
• Ensure transparency through consistent communication and progress reporting across stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in program management, product management, or leading organizational transformation efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful process improvement initiatives and transformations.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Expertise in process mapping, process engineering, and system design.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an understanding of product lifecycle management principles.
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate discussions and align diverse stakeholder groups.
• In-depth understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to navigate complex structures.

• A strong leadership presence with the ability to navigate ambiguity, rapidly clarifying scope, defining goals, and aligning leadership and teams.
• Deep ownership of challenges, driving to not only address surface-level issues but uncover and resolve underlying root causes.
• A blend of user-centric thinking with systems thinking, applying both to complex product and organizational challenges.

About the Team:

The Product Transformation team is part of Mastercard's Innovation division, The Foundry. Our mission is to fuel product-driven growth by prioritizing the right products, optimizing return on product investments, and accelerating speed to market. You will collaborate with product teams and senior leadership to manage Mastercard's product pipeline, leveraging tools like the Studio Dashboard to provide critical insights. This team oversees more than 1,000 products globally, supporting the journey from product concept to market launch.
