Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management - Consumer
Consumer Products Manager will work closely with Account Managers and customers to identify opportunities to leverage specific Mastercard products and platforms to grow the customer and Mastercard's revenues, while meeting strategic product objectives.

Key Accountabilities
• Driving the development and execution of Mastercard core product strategy in the cluster (Turkiye and Azerbaijan)
• Managing individual projects to ensure project execution on spec and time. Coordinating key project stakeholders within and outside the company (For example, implementation of the new premium strategy; rolling out the new debit strategy. Key internal stakeholders: GP&S, Pricing and Interchange Teams, Account Management, Advisors, Market Development. External stakeholders: issuers and non-financial institutions, external vendors, government entities etc) Interacting with strategically important banks and merchants to support implementation
• Understanding and supporting development of customers' product strategy and positioning Mastercard offerings in it
• Working with vendors/suppliers to support products
• Ongoing monitoring of the market situation and definition of new opportunities
• Identifying x-functional opportunities, performing assessment of feasibility and business rationale
• Sharing of core products best practices as consulting approach to business development
• Active participation in the customer planning process led by the Country and Account Manager
• Communication & coordination with product development team to highlight product innovation opportunities emerging from customer segments
• Representing MasterCard at internal and external forums/conferences
• Execution of market research to understand customer needs
Qualifications and Experience
• Deep knowledge of the financial services, payments business within the issuing space.
• Strong business development experience
• Management (people and projects), problem solving, analytical and organizational experience
• Deep knowledge of Turkey and Azerbaijan markets and Mastercard core products
Skills and Competencies
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, extensive experience in communicating in international environment at senior management level
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills - with ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization from senior level executives to individual contributors
• Organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task
• Business judgment and strategic planning skills
• Strong self-starter and motivator
• Business Case development, including financial analytics
• Solid solution development skills and effective working both independently and in a team environment
• Team player, with excellent inter-personal skills, but also able to effectively work alone
• Languages: English, Turkish mother tongue
• Prepared to travel extensively
BS/BA required, MBA preferred
