Services within Mastercard are responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
The Services team and solutions fuel growth for new customer segment like Retail and Commerce partners and Public Sector in the Nordic and Baltics by providing cutting-edge services in the areas of Loyalty, Personalization, and Business Experimentation. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, restaurants, consumer goods, telecom companies and the public sector.
As a member of our Business Development team in the Nordic and the Baltics, you will be at the frontline of generating excitement and demand for our unique solutions and forming successful, lasting client relationships.
The Role
As a manager, you will be instrumental in driving our new revenue streams and the growth of our new customer segments. You will play a key role in developing new revenue streams and setting the strategy for these new segments, including Retail & Commerce, public sector, and more. You will be responsible to develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach our targets.
You will be responsible for managing and expanding existing customer relationships with selected Nordic and Baltic strategic accounts, tapping into new markets/buying centres to generate and qualify leads, promote products and services, and drive sales.
In addition, you will contribute to new client business development by initiating contact with potential new customers in new segments and managing opportunities through the sales pipeline to a successful close, further extending our customer base and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to grow new revenue streams and enter new segments such as Retail & Commerce and the public sector.
• Exhibit strong leadership and relationship management skills to drive new revenue growth and expand new customer segments and fostering lasting partnerships with new clients.
• Be detail-oriented, forming a deep understanding of clients' strategies, objectives, operations, leaders, etc.
• Have a customer-first attitude, capable of uncovering customer needs and crafting innovative customer strategies.
• Take ownership of the sales process, from prospecting to executing commercial contracts, ensuring a seamless and efficient sales cycle.
• Be responsible for achieving sales targets, revenue goals, and sales projections, consistently delivering outstanding personal performance.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to move sales processes into signed deals.
