Title and Summary

Manager, Finance Business Partner

Overview
Working as a key member of the MPMS Finance team within the Mastercard Prepaid Management Services business there is now an opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-motivated finance professional within the MPMS finance team.

Key requirements of the role are to build internal and external business partnerships; model and perform predictive analytics to review financial and operational analysis and scenarios. The role will work closely with their colleagues across the MPMS business to investigate, report on and mitigate any variances. Other aspects of the role are to own the various planning cycles including liaising with the MPMS regional finance teams to aid in consolidation, understanding and reporting of the MPMS trading results. The MPMS prepaid card product transacts in multiple currencies so a good understanding of foreign exchange movements and fx rates will be required.

Role
• Experience operating in a diverse, multi-functional finance group
• Exposure to supporting a designated business area on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a resource to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; makes recommendations to further improve procedures
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Successfully embodies change management; executes corporate cultural initiatives, enhancing the support of an ever-evolving environment to fulfill corporate goals and objectives
• Manages all aspects of financial and budgeting related needs and requirements, including annual target and budget process
• Provides financial insights to group heads/executives, applying an understanding of budgets and forecasts at a detailed level
• Reviews, prepared and consolidates designated reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and analysis, communicating findings and operating notes from regions and business units to group/business unit leadership
• Executes strategy and business processes improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling; reviews and creates suggestions to product and business unit plans
• Escalates analysis and findings to ensure alignment within the organization
• Run and maintain business models to analyze performance and business opportunities
• Identify, structure, prioritize and lead projects or major work streams related to MPMS strategy, priorities and special initiatives

• Organized and able to deal with large volumes of detailed information
• Personally committed to quality, delivery and improvement
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion would be beneficial
• Able to liaise effectively with senior managers within the business to support revenue, overhead cost planning and control
• A good team player developing relationships within the MPMS wider finance team and the operational areas
• Able to maintain high work standards under periods of pressure
