Overview
The Integrated Marketing and Communications team at Mastercard is looking for a dynamic Marketing Partnerships Manager. This role is integral in collaborating closely with the Integrated Marketing and Communications team, vendors and clients to roll out marketing projects. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and programs for campaigns, managing end-to-end campaign development, and work in partnership with issuers and internal Mastercard stakeholders. This position is pivotal in enhancing consumer engagement and driving the success of Mastercard's partnerships.
Role
Mastercard is seeking a Marketing Partnerships Manager to spearhead our Travel & Dining vertical. This role involves developing and managing strategic partnerships, creating engaging consumer experiences, and overseeing the monetization and fulfillment of partnership assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, secure and manage key partnerships within the Travel & Dining sectors.
• Design and implement innovative marketing campaigns and priceless activations.
• Provide marketing expertise and execute day-to-day project delivery, support evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
• Manage relationship with internal Mastercard stakeholders to scope projects, create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's intellectual capital
• Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
• Work with the marketing and analytics teams to develop targeted marketing strategies, aimed at maximizing engagement and value for both issuers and merchants.
• Facilitate effective communication between issuers, merchants, and internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach and successful execution of each campaign and initiative.
• Monitor and report on the performance of these initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and future program development. Track and report on partnership effectiveness and ROI.
Experience & Skills
• Minimum Experience: Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing partnerships or business development, travel & dining experience desired. Experienced in marketing content, digital and social media campaigns, customer experience, offline marketing activities, media management and planning, program development, project management, negotiation, communication, collaborator and strategic thinking abilities.
• Analytics & Insights: Experience in analysing insights from campaign reporting to enhance program impact and engagement.
• External Communication & Presence: Expertise in crafting consumer-focused communications and compelling narratives
• Team Contribution & Management: Proven capability in contributing positively to team dynamics and project execution
• Client & Vendor Management: Experience in managing key vendor and client relationships
• Commercial Orientation: Knowledge and understanding of business KPIS, financials and organisational leadership
