Manager, Business Development
Overview
Drive eCommerce development in Ukraine and Moldova via MasterCard innovative solutions and new players engagement to increase MasterCard payments penetration.
Location: Kiev, Ukraine
Reporting line: Head of Customer Solution Center, Ukraine and Moldova
Role
Responsible for Mastercard eCom strategy development, leading to a successful pipeline of business initiatives that support Ukraine and Moldova strategic plans.
• Contribute towards business opportunities that increase eCom revenue from domestic and cross-border traffic
• Understand market industry trends, customers needs, grow MasterCard online payments
• Launch and promote new Mastercard products, technologies and innovative solutions on issuing and acceptance side
• Improve digital payments penetration via issuing and acceptance apps and web to drive tokenization
• Develop eCom acceleration campaigns to improve approval and conversion rates
• Popularize and cross sell Mastercard solutions to increase their usage by market players and customers
• Improve eCom payments UI/UX to grow transactions frequency, number of transactions and revenue
• Develop new use cases to increase eCom penetration to the new merchants segments
• Focus on new Merchant acquisition in different categories (On-line merchants, Off-line Shops with delivery, Government services, Bill issuers, Utilities, Mobile operators, Internet providers, Social networks, Gaming), including SME
• Engage Payment Facilitators, Technical Providers and other new players to grow cashless eCom with Mastercard solutions
• Develop and introduce "All in box" solutions to eCom players
• Lead negotiations with prospective partners and make commercial deals according to Mastercard procedures
• Proactively working with eCom players regarding MC requirements, procedures and compliance programs
• Build proper reporting environment with Payment Facilitators and Technical Providers.
• Popularize innovative authentication methods, fraud prevention tools and other Cyber & Intelligence products
• Work with XF Teams effectively to share new opportunities and market feedback, engage relevant teams to drive eCom initiatives
• Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to facilitate business development activity and raise MasterCard profile on the market
All About You
• Bachelor's degree and higher
• Extensive knowledge of card payment industry and involved players
• Strong eCom industry expertise (min 5+ years), including issuing and acquiring business
• Demonstrate multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. issuing, acquiring, operations, risk, emerging technologies
• Business development and execution experience, account management skills
• Understanding of technical solutions and implementation processes (at least on middle level)
• Multitasking person with high energy and proactive approach
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Result oriented team player who may inspire others
• Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and in English.
