Title and Summary
Manager, Account Management
The Manager - Acquiring Account Management is a critical role in managing and supporting Mastercard's partnerships with clients. This role involves working to ensure the successful delivery and commercialization of products post contract execution across the team's base of accounts as well as owning your own accounts - managing their operational needs while developing and closing value added opportunities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure the strength of the partnerships with acquirers to maximize the value of the Mastercard and payment ecosystem.

Role
• Account Management: Own the relationships and P/L for a select group of existing acquirers and sponsor banks. Respond to their queries in a timely manner and identify operational improvements . Track performance and ensure adherence to Mastercard rules.
• Business Development : Identify new and/or unique revenue opportunities and develop business case for internal approval for the acquiring segment. Work closely with senior account team members to develop new bundles and sales strategies for Mastercard products and services to add value to the client relationships.
• Commercialization and Delivery: Manage projects across the entire acquiring account management team to ensure our clients and internal teams are aligned and moving forward to implement contracted products and realizing the value of the offerings
• Project and Process Management: Create and maintain a set of standards for account planning, tracking of team/account performance, and client engagement to be applied across the team Manage the global engagement framework and interaction across the global acquiring accounts.
All About You:
• Familiarity with the payment ecosystem - and the roles of various players (e.g., acquirers, issuers, payfacs, ISOs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build strong working relationships at all levels including key c-suite executives at key acquiring partners
• Leadership experience on cross-functional teams
• Experience executing and managing sales and go to market strategies
• Track record of project management success
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of MasterCardP's core products, rules, and services
• Growth oriented mind set, curious out of the box thinker and problem solver
• Progressive business, technology/operations and sales experience with a good understanding of payment technology; preferably with significant experience in Business Development/ Account/Product Management
• Bachelor's degree required
Purchase salary range - $164,000 - 263,000
NYC salary range - $172,000 - 275,000

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
