Program Overview

The "Data Access" platforms ensure the customers rights to Data Privacy and support how Mastercard responds to customers' requests to exercise their rights. (E.g., content of responses, timing, etc).

Customers have the following data access Rights which applies to Mastercard as a controller:
• Right to have a copy of all personal data we have about them
• Right to ask for a correction(update) to their personal data
• Right to ask for a deletion of their personal data (right to erasure)
• Right to port their personal data to another company in a structured machine-readable format
• Right to restrict processing of their personal data (segregate data - so that we don't use it for any purpose other than permitted under the GDPR)
All the above rights are subject to various exceptions and conditions and therefore a request from an individual must be reviewed by the Privacy Team.
Capabilities for this initiative include:
• Capture data access requests
• Find, Retrieve, Check, Aggregate Data
• Support the right to ask for deletion of data
• Support the right to restrict processing
• Support the right to data portability

Role and Responsibilities -

• Using the Working Backwards method, decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap.
• Works with Technical Program Managers, Developers, UX designers, and internal customers to define the details behind the business requirements.
• Detail, Collect and share user stories with engineering teams.
• Identifies gaps and charters new platform capabilities as required
• Identifies innovations or performs test and learn experiments to create features that add more business and customer value for a platform product
• Participates with the business in research to inform platform product feature needs
• Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap
• Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams
• Digests business requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set
• Has visibility into the design of the user experience
• Determines release goals for the platform and prioritizes assigned features according to business and platform value, adjusting throughout implementation as needed
• Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level
• Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
• Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicates to leadership
• Supports and participates in post-release reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the feature
• Works with internal teams and business operations to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level issues
• Develops and implements new metrics into measurement techniques; works with development teams to develop reports to monitor them
• Independently identifies and researches anomalous performance; escalates findings to senior management
• Coordinates internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities
• Owns and manages product documentation; enables self-service support and/or works to reduce overhead
• Identifies feature risks from business and Product Owners feedback & in-depth analysis of operational performance and share with senior leadership
• Mentoring team members
• Assists with the hiring process.

All About You

• 10 years in Technical Product Management
• Any development experience
• Experience in product, program, or service management with technology.
• Experience with organizing and coordinating customer activities with product development roadmaps.
• Experience with defining and organizing customer objectives, goals, strategies and metrics.
• Experience with defining hypothesis statements and experiments.
• Experience with facilitating technical and non-technical virtual workshops, trainings and/or problem-solving meetings.
• Experience with converting customer use cases into actionable and testable backlog and owning prioritization.
• Understands the technologies, architecture design and features that support customer jobs to be done and are able to contribute to technical discussions, decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience completing end-to-end delivery of software changes or customer onboarding experience that focuses on learning outcomes and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated solid judgment and effective communication skills. Ability to see the big picture, while navigating technology and customer development decisions and trade-offs.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
• Proven track record for contributing to the team's agility and flow through experiments that focus on simplification

Education (preferred): Bachelor's degree Computer Science (or related discipline)
