Department Overview
The Settlement Program provides vital systems and services to the Mastercard Treasury and Finance team in support of global payments/customer funds movement, treasury operations, liquidity, foreign exchange, risk management and capital management. We are directly responsible for moving billions of dollars each day between our customers. We are an agile development organization with teams located in both St. Louis, Missouri, Dublin, Ireland and Pune, India.

Role:
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager- Technical with a strong background in Java based projects, using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work closely with stakeholders, gather comprehensive business requirements, break down large complex projects into manageable tasks, and craft high-quality user stories. You will be responsible for communicating these requirements effectively to the development team and ensuring smooth collaboration to achieve project goals on time.
You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior Product Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
oEngage with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
oAct as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring that their requirements are captured accurately and fully understood.

Requirements Analysis:
oTranslate business requirements into clear, actionable, and concise user stories, ensuring that each user story provides value and is testable.
oBreak down large and complex projects into smaller, manageable pieces that can be executed within Agile sprints.
oEnsure that user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and are ready for the development team to implement.

Communication and Collaboration:
oEnsure that the development team understands the business requirements clearly and comprehensively.
oCommunicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide updates and clarify requirements when necessary.
oMaintain clear documentation of user stories, business requirements, and backlog prioritization.

Quality Assurance:
oParticipate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are delivered with quality.
oReview QA's test scripts and outputs to ensure that requirements are met.
oAssist the development team in resolving issues and ambiguities in user stories during the development process.

Key Requirements:
Experience:
oProven track record in delivering large complex projects to Production.
oProven experience working in an Agile environment, with deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
oSolid experience writing high-quality user stories and documenting business requirements.
oStrong understanding of financial products, services, and industry-specific regulations.

Skills & Competencies:
oExceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
oStrong analytical skills with the ability to break down large projects into smaller, manageable work items.
oAbility to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting requirements.
oProven experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management software.
oFamiliarity with FinTech applications and software development processes.

Educational Qualifications:
oA degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
oRelevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Procut Owner.
