Title and Summary

Lead CSG Singleview Developer

This position is for a Lead Developer working on the MasterCard Consolidated Billing System (MCBS). MCBS centralizes the billing function for key MasterCard products and services into a single system while providing our customers with detailed billing information for processing services.

About the Role:

- Ensure quality of one or more application codebases and alignment with development standards.
- Design and develop innovative pricing and billing frameworks tailored to the organization's evolving needs, strategic goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Significant code development, commitment of code/review of pull-requests, and modest day-to-day support duties.
- Responsible for performance engineering of the enterprise software architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Quality Assurance, Business Operations (BizOps), and business to address quality issues, operational challenges, and business requirements
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing expertise to enhance overall team performance.

About You:
===================================
- Engineering experience, preferably in high volume, low latency transaction processing systems (such as payments transaction switching, high frequency trading systems or global real-time event streaming systems etc.)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
- Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written - and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.

Preferred Skills:
===================================
Singleview Expertise:
• Overall career experience of 9-12 years into Technology
• Strong technical and functional knowledge of CSG Singleview billing system and ImE (Inter-mediation).
• Hands-on experience in:
oSingleview Convergent Billing 10.0 or above.
oSingleview architecture and deployment.
oSingleview Billing configurations (Products, Tariffs, Subtotals, etc.).
oSingleview Rating and Billing.
oSingleview Invoice Design Tool.
oSingleview Process Engine and Customer Management.
oSingleview integration with other Enterprise Applications (CRM, GL Financials, Data Warehouse, Payments/Collections. etc.).
• Singleview troubleshooting skills, including:
oAnalyzing system logs and debugging system errors.
oIdentify and resolving system issues.
oIdentify and resolve system performance issues.
• Programming Languages and Scripting:
oProficiency in Singleview EPM, SQL, Unix.
oExperience in Perl/Python programming and hands-on experience with multi-processing.
oDemonstrated ability in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Java (Java experience preferred).
oExperience in building RESTful & SOAP APIs
• SQL Performance and Tuning:
oStrong SQL performance tuning skills.
oExperience optimizing SQL queries and database performance.
• Tools and Technologies:
oExperience with configuration and release management tools like CVS, SVT, GIT, Jenkins, etc.
oStrong understanding of Tuxedo architecture and ubbconfig configuration.
