Overview
Dynamic Yield by Mastercard is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Backend engineer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge projects. Collaborate with the team to define software requirements and implement low-latency, scalable applications. effective communication through multiple channels and high-functioning interpersonal skills are critical for this role's success.
Strong technical skills and 3 years of Typescript development experience are required. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and Redis is preferred. Our backend Developer must be able to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
All about You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Developer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frameworks such as NestJS or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, and Redis.Knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Streaming OpenSources like Kafka is a plus.
- Knowledge of Java is a plus.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ability to architect and implement solutions that can scale efficiently to meet high demand.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, ambitious, and eager to learn.
