The Merchant Loyalty team is looking for a Director, Software Engineering to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. All about the role:
Lead test engineering teams focused on driving quality excellence throughout the program.
Build out a client testing function, focused on minimizing client impact with releases.
Recruit and hire the right talent.
Continuously engage and improve teams' performance by conducting recurring 1-1 meetings, building relationships, and managing career development.
Provide and facilitate timely feedback, coaching in the moment, and mentoring for staff at all levels.
Emulate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through behavior, recognition, coaching, and employee engagement.
All About You:
Ability to lead high throughput teams while staying focused on quality excellence
Experience with automated test frameworks and methodologies
Experience with a Testing Center of Excellence, and the uniqueness in an enterprise environment.
General experience with Chaos Testing and implementation.
Knowledge of testing concepts and industry standards.
Ability to lead teams across different geographies.
Look at everything through the eyes of the customer, understanding integration patterns and working with client-facing teams
Ability to identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team
Be skilled at explaining technical problems clearly and precise to ensure clients understand our platform and services.
