Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Responsibilities:

Managing the end to end business development process

• Achieve given revenue targets responsibly and ethically
• Build partnership with core payment team to identify client needs and provide strategic solutions
• Leading end-to-end sales efforts, identify business development opportunities to delivering presentations and contract signing
• Be able to identify/bundle/source solutions where it will make an impact in client's business
• Helping Mastercard win strategic proprietary & co-branded programs to increase Mastercard's share of spend in Hong Kong
• Developing best-in-class Mastercard Services programs to differentiate Mastercard versus competitors
• Build and inculcate relationships to become a trusted advisor to Senior/Executive level clients

The position will be based in Hong Kong and will require occasional travel within Greater Bay Area

All About You

• Experience in analyzing client needs and engaging senior executives at consulting presentations
• Ability to develop compelling sales narratives and deck in influencing sales closure
• Self-motivated to initiate, develop, and close a sale
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highest level of self-motivation with a hunting-attitude
• Analytic capabilities and modeling skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, with fluency in Mandarin an advantage
• Hold long term work authorization for Hong Kong

Advantage

• Prior related experience in business roles within the payment eco-system (Consumer credit card, debit card, commercial card, acquiring & fintech )
• Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm
• Proven sales expertise in software, technology, and marketing/loyalty platforms
• MBA from a leading university or business school or equivalent background at consulting firm.
• Experience in working with regulator or HKMA
• Experience in AI adoption / GenAI / hyper-personalization
