Role

The Economics & Locations Solutions (ELS) program empowers key decision makers across all segments to make smarter and better decisions by enriching their own solutions with our leading and trusted insights. Our relevant data and insights provide and curate richer context and deeper information across multiple dimensions (time, sector, geo), with accessible, timely delivery to meet each client's needs.

We are looking for a product leader to join ELS as a Director, Product Management. As we set out to reimagine our suite of economic solutions, this individual will play a key role in shaping the product vision, fuelling our innovation flywheel, and building products that clients love. This individual will partner on 0 to 1 product development and incorporate it into our broader product agenda.

• Partner with product leadership to set a customer-centric product vision and strategy, prioritize what we build, and organize well-structured plans around execution
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and analytics teams to drive product development from opportunity identification to launch, ensuring alignment across business priorities, development objectives, market trends, and technology investments
• Design product concepts, conduct user testing, and define/iterate across product roadmaps
• Work with engineering and development teams to understand how to translate product objectives into tangible plans of action, potential block points, roadblocks, and communicate them upstream and across the organization
• Connect regularly with core stakeholders to ensure core focus, resourcing, and utilization remains centered on product vision and long-term objectives
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies to track product development
• Contribute to efforts to shape product management and foster an agile, user-focused, product-led culture
• Mentor, develop, and foster the skills of other team members
• Define internal, external, and product based OKR's and KPI's and recommend ideas for improvement, propose action plans, and communicate effects on product P&L

All About You

• We are looking for an experienced product leader (5+ years in product management) who is passionate about data, adept at turning initial product-market fit into scaled products, and literate in 0 to 1 product development.
• Customer-centric: Deeply curious about customer needs and passionate about building alongside customers and continuously iterating to deliver maximum value
• Innovative: Evidence of creativity, innovation, and unorthodox thinking
• Collaborative: Able to bring cross-functional teams together, identify patterns of needs, build consensus on priorities, and facilitate challenging conversations when necessary
• Dynamic problem solver: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, staying calm under pressure, and solving for short-term needs with consideration to the long-term vision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Able to engage and influence at all levels, make the complex simple, and communicate effectively with teammates at all levels of technical knowledge
• Familiarity with economics, econometrics, data engineering, and/or statistics a plus
• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
