Overview
Dynamic Yield is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to serve as the lead liaison between Dynamic Yield and its strategic tech partners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop joint solutions and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead partner (from the digital marketing tech stack) relationship management and execution of partner deliverables with partner contacts. In addition, the Director will also be responsible for facilitating directed outreach to prospective partner companies and engaging in regular conversations and negotiations to add to the Strategic Partner Ecosystem.
Role
• At the direction of Executive Management, conduct outreach to prospective contacts & prepare for prospective conversations and meetings with potential partners.
• Execute and plan partner deliverables (ensuring regular communication, project facilitation, engagement opportunities, education & reporting, partner renewals, planning leadership meetings, relationship management)
• Support and direct roles and responsibilities of the Manager,
• Represent Dynamic Yield Product, including a deep understanding of its ecosystem architecture.
• Prepare for strategic planning meetings with partners (logistics & scheduling, agenda and content development, follow-up materials, etc.) and, in some cases, development of cobranded research, products, and/or data.
• Negotiate partner renewals/upsells and contracts with prospective partners.
All About You
• 5-7 years of account/relationship management in digital marketing or e-commerce software solutions
• Strong technical skills, ability to understand product functionality
• Strategic planning, sales, and customer service experience or a combination of education and experience
• Experience working with and managing multiple vendors and internal business units.
• Creative, critical thinker with a solid background in formulating and executing projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and background in channel sales, marketing, agency relationships, and the marketing technology and/or ecommerce space
• Effective leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively in directing and managing multiple projects and assignments utilizing project and time management skills, significant interaction with others outside your department, and external resources
• Relevant BA Degree in a related discipline
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation, writing, and editing skills
• Ability to translate complex information into strategic messaging and positioning
• Solid planning and organization skills
• Current connections with martech companies and/or vendors preferred.
