Title and Summary

Director Global Business Management SME Segment Solutions & Alternative Distribution

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Global SME Business Management. This role is critical to driving our strategic initiatives and ensuring the growth and success of our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) segment across global markets. The Director will be responsible for overseeing business administrative functions, including strategy development, business reporting, performance measurement, QBR preparation, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning and Execution:
oDevelop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and market penetration for the global SME segment.
oIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
oCollaborate with senior leadership to align SME strategies with overall corporate objectives.
oBuild strategic forecast modelling with business levers in collaboration with the regions and different line of business.
• Business Administration:
oOversee administrative functions related to the SME segment, including resource allocation, budget management, and operational efficiency.
oDevelop and implement policies and procedures to streamline business operations and enhance productivity.
• Performance Management and Measurement:
oMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
oImplement processes and systems to track business performance and ensure accountability.
oPrepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
oProvide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on SME segment performance.

• Cross-Functional Leadership:
oCoordinate with various departments, including regional product teams, investor relations, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure cohesive execution of SME strategies.
oFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
• Education:
oBachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
oMinimum of +7 years of experience in business management, strategy, or related roles, with a focus on SMEs.
oExperience in business administration and cross-functional leadership.
oDemonstrated ability to prepare and deliver impactful QBRs and performance reports.
oData Analytics platforms, Salesforce, PowerBI, Macro knowledge is a plus.

oSuperior communication and interpersonal skills.
oAbility to manage a matrix organisation.
oAbility to navigate complex and dynamic market environments.
oProficiency in using business management and analysis tools.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
