Overview
Enterprise Strategy tackles the most important strategic opportunities and challenges for Mastercard across business units globally by working directly with the CEO, the Executive Leadership, and senior leaders.

As a member of the Enterprise Strategy team, you will become an owner of Mastercard's corporate strategy through the formulation and communication of high-priority strategies. The projects you lead will address emerging strategic opportunities and issues aimed at fostering long-term growth and innovation. In addition, you will collaborate cross functionally across product, sales, corporate development and other teams to help drive organic and inorganic growth opportunities, aligned with overarching strategic priorities.
Role
• Lead high-priority strategic projects, including scoping and structuring problems, planning, conducting complex analysis and research, and providing insights and recommendations
• Develop strategy presentations and memos for C-suite executives and Mastercard's Board of Directors
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, and share insightful reports and analyses with the broader team and senior executives
• Develop new ideas for growth opportunities for Mastercard, based on market and competitive context
• Periodically help refine the corporate strategy to reflect key issues that impact, or are expected to impact, the company
• Evaluate potential areas for acquisition and/or investment based on the company's strategic priorities
• Balance facilitation, influence, and content contributions to help business leaders design and advance their strategies, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy
• Coach junior team members
All About You
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or advanced degree from a top-tier program preferred
• Knowledge of financial services and/or payment industry required
• 6+ years of consulting experience at a leading consulting firm and/or internal strategy units, including at least one year of project leadership
• Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen; seasoned in identifying the most critical aspects of a problem and handling ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to lead company-wide complex projects from start to finish, effectively driving forward project plans and leveraging stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience working with large global clients or at global organizations, with a proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the globe
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality presentations and memos independently
• Strong aptitude for modelling and applying quantitative analytical approaches
