Who is the Mastercard Academy?
The Mastercard Academy was established over 25 years ago to help Mastercard customers and partners gain the knowledge, skills and insights needed to succeed in the world of payments.
Over this time we have developed our training offering to include a range of topics and areas that keep pace with an ever changing world.
Through our many training programmes and events, customers can learn more about Mastercard's payment solutions and processes, and how to get the best from them. They can also find out more about the wider world of payments covering the latest trends and developments in digital and new payment channels. They have the choice of how to learn - by joining a virtual seminar and/or creating a customised training programme, and/or learning online through Academy on the web.
Our aim is to deliver learning experiences that are effective, impactful and enable our ambition to be the most innovative payments training organisation in Europe.
Overview:
The Mastercard Academy team in Europe is looking for a digital learning content developer who can create engaging and impactful learning assets. We have big ambitions to build out our online curricula and need someone who can join us to help realise this exciting vision.
While the Mastercard Academy team is currently split around 3 locations (Brussels, London and Moscow), we welcome candidates from across Europe.
Role:
You'll be responsible for the development and production of learning experiences across multiple remote delivery channels.
You will own the end-to-end process: taking the initial idea, structuring a solution (which may take the form of e-learnings, webinars, documentation, videos etc.), then building the content in partnership with subject matter experts and finally testing and quality checking the final product before launch.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and subject matter experts across Mastercard, to build effective learning solutions, applying the latest thinking in learning to develop creative production ideas, in order to maximise learner engagement and impact.
You will take onboard internal and external client feedback on a monthly and yearly basis and will develop plans to ensure assets are reviewed and continuously improved at appropriate intervals, refreshing and updating them as necessary.
You will also support the creation of marketing materials to promote these new offerings to our clients.
All About You:
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience within an L&D role, with an excellent track record of producing high-quality online learning solutions. You have a sound understanding of learning theory and instructional design principles, as well as best practices for training development.
You have a flair for taking complex technical information and translating it into engaging, easily understandable learning content. You're at ease working with subject matter experts in different geographies to capture their knowledge.
You will possess excellent organization skills, enabling you to successfully drive forward multiple concurrent projects. You have robust influencing skills and are comfortable managing different stakeholders across the business. You're creative and entrepreneurial in spirit and enjoy testing out innovative approaches to challenges. You're self-motivated and collaborate well both within and across the core team.
You are a seasoned user of industry-leading authoring tools and learning platforms such as Captivate 360, Storyline, Adobe Connect. Ideally you will also be familiar with other media technologies which, for example, enable you to produce and edit videos and voice recordings.
You will come with a demonstrable knowledge of the latest thinking in digital/blended learning programmes. You have a clear passion for your field and ensure you keep up to date with emerging trends and innovative new tools.
You will be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
