Title and Summary

Data Engineer II

The Global Business Services Center Service Management team is built upon strong contributors with leadership abilities, consulting mindsets, and strong project management skills. The group acts as an internal consultant supporting the Shared Services Organization which today supports three primary verticals: Finance, People & Capability, and Legal, Franchise & Integrity.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data scientist to join our team. As a data engineer you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large and complex data sets. You will use ETL tools to build data pipelines.

Role

- Execute projects through design, implementation, automation, and maintenance of large-scale enterprise ETL processes for GBSC.
- Develop repeatable and scalable code that processes client data in an automated and efficient manner to ensure data availability in the platform is as real-time as possible.
- Act as an expert data resource within the team.
- Monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across datasets.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools in data engineering, recommending and implementing solutions as needed.

All About You

- Implement and configure APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms to enable seamless data flow between systems.
- Expertise with hands-on experience with RDMS technologies, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle.
- Familiarity with ETL frameworks and the ability to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and database design to support scalable data solutions.
- Experience in data hygiene procedures, identity resolution capabilities or data management is a plus.
- Experience in data product development, analytical models, and model governance
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
