Overview
The Arcus product design team is looking for a Product Experience Design to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating, problem-solving and data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, user-centered design, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role
In this user-center-facing position, you will:
• Partner with clients to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions.
• Identify needs and paintpont in our products to grow our customer satisfaction.
• Take responsibility for driving UX research, ensuring that the whole team designs with the end users in mind. By conducting user research to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Work with data tools to provide data-backed insights that comes from our platform by conducting usability tests, surveys, and interviews to inform design choices to reduce guesswork and ensures that decisions align with data, user preferences and business needs.
• This position collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers. Their insights bridge gaps between disciplines, fostering a holistic understanding of user needs and business goals.
• Promote a culture of continuous discovery. They encourage ongoing learning, ensuring that the team remains adaptable and responsive to user feedback.
• Creation of User Personas or Archetypes by product and customer segment, documenting their pain points and specific needs to build a comprehensive database for the entire company, allowing us to implement various strategies effectively.
• Workshop coordinator to incorporate Design Thinking methodologies to support and guide multidisciplinary teams in developing more concrete initiatives based on the innovation. This approach will foster a co-creation perspective and a problem-solving mindset.

The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have a strong knowledge about design principles, frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• Have a clear mission that focuses on the attention of the customer's need above your own.
• Continually look at the market and competition to see what is happening.
• Go out of your way to get close to the customer in order to find out what their needs are and how a product or service can help.
• Identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team.
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.
• Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and strategies effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Always look for potential solutions to solve problems.
• Be skilled at mapping the lifecycle of a product.
• Self-directed, well organized, and extremely detail oriented
• Team player with willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
• A portfolio demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions, creative strategy and/or design system for consumer facing products across platforms.

Nice to have
• Bachelor's degree in design or related,
• Have experience with payments industry
• Intermediate English skills (writing and speaking)
• Have a good understanding about design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
