Overview

The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within D&S and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands.

Role

• Responsible for leading the visual design direction for creative projects across platforms, ensuring consistency with Mastercard's and Client's brand identity and values
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, copywriters and project managers to deliver compelling designs that engage and resonate with the audience(s)
• Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of content and design across all mediums to best industry practice standards and client branding guidelines by ensuring all output is checked and errors minimized
• Overall responsibility on the overall production of creative materials and agreed deadlines
• Presentation of brand creative concepts to marketing teams
• Produce creative guidelines to ensure consistency of brand and creative across all mediums
• Optimize graphic elements and imagery by resizing or by adapting
• Stay up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
• Learn about different cultures and preferences

All about you

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• Min. 6 years of experience in art direction, creative design, or advertising, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, or other design tools. HTM5 skills is a plus
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, accessibility standards, and mobile-first design principles
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and composition
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively
• Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of print production processes, digital design best practices, and experience with motion graphics or video production is a plus
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills
• Language requirement: professional in English and any other relevant European language, local language is a plus
