The Opportunity
We're looking to hire a Brokerage Trader for the Trading team at MassMutual. You'll be responsible for executing trades, while minimizing the company's financial exposure. You'll ensure trading procedures are properly executed and that compliance policies are followed. You'll respond to complex questions from management, clients, sales representatives and firm personnel regarding trades, securities and administrative procedures.

The Impact:
As a Brokerage Trader your responsibilities will included, but not limited to the following:
- Accepts large and complex trades from sales personnel and executes and reports trades in a timely manner
- Reviews trade execution reports on a daily basis
- Stays abreast of changes in the industry and shares knowledge with the field and the department
- Assists with audit reviews and completes complex projects as assigned
- Oversees the processing of daily functions and completes departmental reports
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of financial services experience
- 1+ year of experience working with excel
- FINRA Series 7 at time of application
- FINRA Series 63 at time of application or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
The Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of trading desk experience
- Detailed product/trading knowledge of Mutual Funds, Equities and Options
- A demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements and standards as relates to trade reporting across regulatory agencies: FINRA, MSRB, SEC.
- Excellent written and oral communication, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal and external partners.

Salary Range: $74,300.00-$97,500.00
