What You'll Do:
- Act as a core member of our global incident response team, leading investigations and response to complex and high-priority cybersecurity events.
- Analyze cyber threat intelligence and execute deep-dive forensics and malware analysis to help identify, contain, and eliminate threats.
- Hunt proactively for advanced threats across networks, systems, and endpoints, using tools like SIEM and EDR.
- Design and deploy cyber defense solutions and tools that protect our infrastructure-now and into the future.
- Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity Engineering, IT teams, and business leaders to strengthen our overall security posture.
- Shape and evolve Mars' incident response capabilities by developing standards, playbooks, and strategic recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
- An ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to protect a purpose-driven business.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or IT.
- Intermediate-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CEH).
- Proven hands-on experience in incident response, threat hunting, or operating within a top-tier SOC.
- Experience with cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) security and/or email security platforms.
- Deep understanding of cyber threats, networking, cloud environments, and security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business language.
