As the European market continues to grow and expand, Antech Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our In-House Diagnostics team, supporting our Central Cluster, based in Germany.

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of the strategy, development and performance of Antech's vast portfolio of point of care diagnostic solutions. This is a cross functional position, partnering with commercial teams, R&D, marketing, operations and customer service to ensure product success. This role is versatile and requires a blend of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, market insights and hands on execution to enhance customer experience and business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the strategy development and commercial delivery for in-house diagnostics, to drive growth within the Central European Cluster.
- Gather market insights, customer feedback, competitive insights and clinical data and partner with R&D teams to continuously support product improvements.
- Partner with marketing, sales, corporate affairs and R&D teams to define messaging and develop and communicate product insights and value proposition in campaigns, customer updates, promotions etc.
- Development of training materials and delivery of training and education to internal teams including sales reps, external customers and key opinion leaders on product features, clinical insights, scientific features and product positioning.
- Support the production of content for specific device information (e.g. user guides, manuals, brochures) in close collaboration with the marketing team.
- Partner with R&D to manage the product roadmap for in-house diagnostics portfolio, including new features, updates and key product launches. Assess new product ideas and their market viability where required.
- Support the central cluster sales team with key and corporate account support, pricing, onboarding, installations, customer training, relationship management and performance delivery.
- Provide second level customer support where queries relate to device specific, technical or scientific questions to support our front-line support teams.
- Monitor product performance metrics, partnering with the Purchasing and Commercial team to forecast, identify opportunities and gaps to drive growth.
- Collaborate with the manufacturers, in partnership with the wider in-house diagnostics team to continuously improve product to ensure exceptional customer usability and experience.
- Participation and scientific support at key events including National Sales Meetings and key congresses where required.
- Keep all stakeholders informed of relevant information related to the in-house diagnostics portfolio (e.g. updates, discontinuity, batch information) to ensure timely communication with customers.
- Other product management duties where needed.
Education and Experience:
- Veterinary degree or a bachelor's or associate degree in an equivalent field.
- 3+ years working in a product management, or similar role, ideally in the veterinary industry/animal health industry (vendors, manufacturers, diagnostics, large clinics).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A personal passion for helping veterinarians and the pets in their care.
- A deep understanding of the animal health industry with a focus on diagnostics; strong understanding of customer experience and the relevant competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building abilities.
- Strong analytical abilities enabling the use of industry, customer, market, and financial data to drive decision making.
- Excellent verbal communications, written, and presentation skills - comfort presenting to groups of any size and comprised of a broad range of participants.
- Self-motivated, confident.
- Attention to detail and keeping multiple projects on time.
- Problem solver-able to anticipate roadblocks and execute solutions.
- Strong MS Office skills required - including proficiency working in Excel and a mastery of PowerPoint.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
