Title: RGM Omnichannel Promotional Lead

Workstyle: Hybrid

Locations: Franklin, TN; MARS hub locations

The RGM Omnichannel Promotion Lead reports to the Market RGM Director serving as a key business partner on promotion and trade terms expert for the local unit. This position drives the strategic development & execution of optimized enterprise trade investment frameworks, budgets and program of sale mechanics across the Pet Nutrition portfolio of brands & customers. As leader of the local trade management practice, this role ensures improved strategic & tactical trade capabilities as well as market delivery support for category value and profit pool growth with customers. In addition this role is responsible for leading the trade promotional effectiveness center of excellence and developing and deploying the promotional toolkit for the region.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 Years of People Leadership Experience
  • Experience which demonstrates advanced problem solving and analytic capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
  • 10+ years working experience finance, sales, or analytics
  • MBA Preferred

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Co-pilot trade investment strategy with Sales Leadership Team
  • Create trade architecture framework to step change US Pet Nutrition go to market strategy
  • Manage execution of strategic terms projects and tools deployed by team to account teams throughout the organization
  • Lead development and management of US Pet Nutrition trade investment budgets
  • Is considered the expert on Mars Petcare promotional optimization and strategic trade terms development across the accounts
  • Leads promotional analytics team and partners with field to ensure execution
  • Interacts and communicates regularly customer teams and co-pilots JBP discussions when additional assistance is required
  • Assesses promotional and terms competitive landscape across accounts to deliver recommendations to enterprise stakeholders
  • Prepares and delivers promotional scorecards to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain technical skills on appropriate software applications to provide optimum level of support (Business Objects, IRI Analyzer, etc.)
