The Occupational Health Nurse functions as the key point of contact and supports the business to reach its objectives by using occupational health and wellbeing expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory federal and state guidance. This role mitigates current and future occupational health risks and business costs through business partnerships. The nurse also empowers Associates with the necessary tools to achieve and maintain a lifestyle of health, through proactive interventions and serving as a trusted resource.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • BS in Nursing required, Masters preferred
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in occupational health, case management, or another nursing field

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • The primary responsibilities for this position entail: injury/illness assessment, triage treatment, continuity of care, infection control monitoring, conducting health surveillance programs, providing health education, ergonomic assessments and facilitating return to work.
  • The Occupational Health Nurse communicates with all levels of Associates with reviews and interpretations of site-specific data and consults with site leadership and stakeholders on interventions to improve Associates' health and wellbeing.
  • This Associate facing role requires advising business leaders on regulatory and health issues impacting their site population, and appropriate actions to drive positive impact.
  • Translation of population-health data, clinical dashboards, and insights to create customized reports that identify gaps, validate program investments, evaluate program effectiveness and monitor outcomes against targets.
  • COE level expertise to support site initiatives and escalations on health and wellbeing related issues
  • This role requires being onsite 4 days per week
